High energy density: The much greater energy density is one of the chief advantages of a lithium ion battery or cell. With AEG’s needing to operate longer between charges while still consuming more power, there is always a need to use batteries with much higher energy density. The much higher power density offered by lithium ion batteries is a distinct advantage. Self-discharge: One issue with batteries is that they lose their charge over time. This self-discharge can be a major issue. Another advantage of lithium ion cells is that their rate of self-discharge is much lower than that of other rechargeable cells such as Ni-Cad and NiMH forms. Low maintenance: One major lithium ion battery advantage is that they do not require any maintenance to ensure their performance. Ni-Cad cells require a periodic discharge to ensure that they do not exhibit the memory effect. As this does not affect lithium ion cells, this process or other similar maintenance procedures are not required. These use the new Samsung high discharge technology. In addition to the chemical difference from LiPo, these Li-Ion cells boast a higher capacity than their LiPo counterparts of similar size. Valken recommends using the following chargers for best results. Always use the balancing connector to charge your Li Ion Battery. #87749 - Valken Energy Digital Display 2-3 Cell Li-Ion/LiPo (US)
#87756 - Valken Energy Digitial Display 2-3 Cell Li-Ion/LiPo(EU)

Amazing Battery Well Worth The Money!
i purchased 3 of these batteries to use in my high stress build (ASG 45,000 motor 100:300 gears bore up kit running a m120 spring and a gate titan fcu) and i had good results in the performance. I was seeing some sag in the batteries after the charge was about 60% gone but that is expected in lion batteries. i was getting around 2,000 to 3,000 shots per battery in normal use and 1,000 shots in heavy full and simi-auto usage, this is great considering this build i had to carry 2 2000 mah 25c 11.1v lipo batteries to even get through the same amount of time and a single LiOn battery. the batteries did not heat up under heavy stress, or high draw or fast charging. all in all i love these batteries and i would recommend them over LiPo any day
